Dental Care in Beverly Hills, CA
One office on Bedford Drive, one dentist, and patients from every corner of the Westside.
What Beverly Hills Patients Get From This Practice
Beverly Hills Aesthetic Dentistry gives you one dentist, one Bedford Drive office, and a plan you understand before anything starts. Dr. Jamielynn Hanam-Jahr, DDS, California License #46068, has practiced for over 25 years. She sees every patient herself, at every visit. Below, you'll find what city records say about your tap water, parking, and getting here.
Most patients come to us wanting healthy teeth and work still looking like them. Many also worry about being upsold, so every plan here is sorted by what your teeth need first. Waiting rarely shrinks a dental problem, and a worn filling keeps wearing whether you look or not. We care for patients from 11 Westside communities, and this page covers Beverly Hills.
What Census and County Numbers Say About Beverly Hills

Busy weeks make one well-planned visit worth more than three rushed ones. Nearly one in three LA County adults has no dental insurance, so we talk about cost openly. Your plan can follow your PPO benefits year, and coverage and terms vary by plan.
What Your Tap Water Carries, Inside and Outside the City
Beverly Hills city water carries fluoride at 0.6 to 1.2 milligrams per liter, according to the City of Beverly Hills. The federal recommended level is 0.7 milligrams per liter, so city water often sits right around it. The city treats its water with chloramines, and the water runs hard, at about 17 grains per gallon.

A 90210 address does not always mean City of Beverly Hills water. Part of the 90210 hills belong to the City of Los Angeles, with LA Department of Water and Power service. Your water bill names your utility, and it helps us plan fluoride care for your children.
Where the Office Sits, and Why Patients Drive In
Our office sits on Bedford Drive between Dayton Way and Little Santa Monica Boulevard, in the Beverly Hills Triangle. Bedford, Roxbury, and Camden hold most of the medical offices in the city. Four city parking structures sit within a five-minute walk of our door.
| City parking near the office | Figure |
|---|---|
| 461 N Bedford Dr, a few doors up | First 2 hours free |
| 440 N Camden Dr, one block east | First hour free |

Most cleanings fit inside the two free hours at Bedford, so you can park and leave without a fee. If you'd rather ride, the Metro D Line's Wilshire/La Cienega station opened May 8, 2026. It is the closest stop today. Stations for Beverly Hills and Century City are expected in spring 2027.
Which Way You Drive In From
Patients reach us from four directions, and each has its own route. From the west, Wilshire Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard bring in drivers from Century City and Westwood. From the I-405, the Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilshire exits lead straight into the Triangle.
From the south, Robertson Boulevard carries patients up from Beverlywood and Culver City. From the Valley, Coldwater Canyon Drive and Benedict Canyon Drive cross the hills into the Flats. Everyone else lands on Santa Monica Boulevard, two blocks from our door.
After a visit, some patients walk Beverly Gardens Park along Santa Monica Boulevard. Others stop at the Beverly Hills Public Library on Rexford Drive, two blocks away. The Sunday farmers market sits on Civic Center Drive, on a day our office is closed.
Care We Provide, Wherever You Drive In From
One office handles most of what Westside patients need. Care here includes:
- Dental implants for missing teeth, planned around your bite and bone health.
- Porcelain veneers and composite veneers designed to look natural, not done.
- Crowns and tooth-colored fillings, replacing old work before it fails.
- Exams and cleanings, the routine care keeping bigger work away.
- Teeth whitening, in the office or at home.
- Emergency care for pain, a broken tooth, or a lost crown.
None of it starts without a conversation first. You see the options, the tradeoffs, and the cost, and then you choose. Results vary from person to person, and your plan depends on what the exam shows.
Credentials You Can Verify Before You Book
Dr. Jamielynn Hanam-Jahr, DDS, holds California License #46068. You can look it up through the Dental Board of California. She earned her dental degree from LSU in 1995 and has run her own practice since 2001. In 2017, she merged two practices into the single office she runs today.
Before dentistry, she worked as a nurse in surgical and trauma intensive care units. Those years taught her to stay calm, move gently, and explain each step to a nervous patient. You can meet Dr. Hanam-Jahr and read about her path into dentistry.
She is the only dentist in the practice, so the person planning your care also does it. One dentist, one office, one set of records. Your history stays in one place, which matters more the longer you stay.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to pick a new dentist?
Start by checking the dentist's license, then judge how they explain your options. In California, you can confirm any dentist's license status through the Dental Board of California license lookup. Then book one routine visit and pay attention to the conversation. Notice whether the dentist explains your choices or pushes a long plan right away.
Is cosmetic dentistry permanent?
Some cosmetic treatments are permanent, and others fade with time. Porcelain veneers require removing a thin layer of enamel, which is why veneer treatment is not reversible. Whitening fades over months to years without touch-ups. Bonding may need touch-ups as it wears. Results vary, so ask how long each option tends to last before you choose.
What is the 3-3-3 rule for teeth?
The 3-3-3 rule is a popular habit, not an official guideline. It usually means brushing 3 times a day, within 3 minutes of eating, for 3 minutes each time. The American Dental Association recommends brushing twice a day for two minutes with fluoride toothpaste. Clean between your teeth once a day too.
Is tap water good for your teeth?
Fluoridated tap water helps protect teeth against decay, which bottled water may not do. The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research notes fluoride levels depend on your water source. Many bottled waters fall below the recommended amount. If your family drinks mostly bottled water, mention it at your next visit.
Does boiling tap water get rid of fluoride?
No. Federal health officials state heating or boiling water does not remove fluoride, so boiled water keeps its fluoride. As water boils off, the fluoride left behind gets more concentrated. Talk with your dentist before changing your family's water, especially for young children.
